Dear Microbrewers,

Schu’s Grill and Bar, St. Joseph, Michigan, enthusiastically invites you to share in a West Michigan premier event during the month of March, promoting Michigan’s hand crafted beers. Your opportunity to participate in “Schu’s Cabin Fever Reliever” begins with your choice of up to two of your craft brewed beer selections, available for my purchase through your distributor. These will be highlighted and promoted during the month of March at Schu’s Grill and Bar.

Saturday, March 20th marks the culmination of “Schu’s Cabin Fever Reliever” month, when celebrities will be on hand for several hours of judging the hand crafted beers, awarding four separate categories:

1. Light or Golden Ales and Lagers
2. Amber and Red Ales and Lagers
3. Porters and Stouts
4. Specialty Others (all others)

Beers will be evaluated on overall “drinkability.” This will include technical quality (clean, problem free, absence of off aromas, flavors and distracting characteristics), visual appeal, balance, “enjoyability,” finish, and overall desire of the quaffing experience.

Judging will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Schu’s Grill and Bar. We will also give our patrons opportunities to win prizes through drawings. Please plan on providing promotional merchandise which corresponds to your brew selections for this event.

The theme of “Cabin Fever Reliever” will be enjoyed by customers as their entries also give them opportunities of winning season-appropriate grand prizes such as Roller Blades and equipment ($100 value), a Boogey Board ($400 value), and a grand prize of a set of Golf Clubs ($800 value)!
